A Story of Lord Krishna

Lord Krishna used to perform Yag everyday. Once upon a time Lord Krishna was performing a Yag. After performing the Yag he was sitting near the alter and thinking about what effect that Yag made. Meanwhile his wife Rukmini came to him and asked him, "O Dev! What are you doing before this alter?" Lord Krishna replied, "O Devi! I am thinking about what effect this Yag made on the atmosphere. I am thinking about the waves, it generated and where these waves effects, I am doing invention about it." Rukmini again made a question, "Have you ever thought about how much  waves are generated by my heart?" Lord Krishna replied, "O Devi! That time will too come but this time I am thinking about it and I can not stop this work. O Devi! Yag is the supermost action of this world. This one is the invention of the Rishis and Munis. What effect it makes on the atmosphere and where it's waves moves, is necessary to know about. It is the action through which we move near to the god and it takes us to the salvation that is why I am busy in this work." Rukmini then became influenced by it and she too started perfroming the yag with Lord Krishna every day.

Gobbling Up Sun By Hanuman

Gobbling Up The Sun By Hanuman

This much, you know that Maharaja Hanuman was called Pawan's son. He was son of Anjana. Name of king Mahivrit Ketu's daughter was Anjana. Hanuman became son of Anjana, Pawan's son. I remember when he would play in childhood in the uterus of mother Anjana. In childhood he would think that "O mother! What is this sun?" Then mother used to educate him, "Son! This one sun, this is enlighter, it gives light. Rays of several kinds enlight us when reach here." When mother used to give these thoughts, once in childhood this child said this, "I want to gobble up the splendor of sun, want to attain within me." She replied, "O Son! That one time will come too." See that one Hanuman who stayed in mother's uterus, became specialist of learning of sun. There was a great education of mother. Consider of sun-science the whole learning of sun, the light, he used to gobble up himself. The whole learning of sun, having in his throat, see! as he had taken the sun in his mouth.

I remember Maharaja Hanuman made a book of two thousand pages, which was written on the science of sun how much scientific the sun is called. He made machines too and which type, by which machines he would take the rays of sun and he would become busy in the night. This one earth, the several kinds of food and minerals exist in it. That one is called sunny. After thinking it seems that the sun is most excellent god(giver) that gives light till evening since morning. Similarly a man is enlighted by that one light. The light is called igneous Dyau (from where sun gets energy).

Kumbhkaran’s Sleep of Six Months

Sleeping Six Months and Awaking Six Months of Kumbhkaran

In our culture it is said, as my dear Mahanand Ji described many times, it is a general saying in modern age that Kumbhkaran used to be busy in sleeping for six months and he would awake for six months. It is said. But It was seen to me that Maharaj Kumbhkaran used to reach his laboratory on mountains for six months. He accepted it as night for six months that “I am not present in nation, not in world. It is my duty to remain there in research centre.” He had this much scientific development. He educated Meghnad too. As scientist like Kumbhkaran had practice of six months, he never became intermixed in the things of the world. His life used to be so. He would come to nation, would teach to scientists in the scientific centers of Ravan. Likewise his life would be hidden for six months and six months he would devote for governmental arrangements of nation.

Maharishi Bharadwaj made Kumbhkaran a great scientist. He used to give education of weapons, vehicles for six months. He used to do research and manufacture in his science lab in the caves of Himalayas.

Kalp Vriksha

Kalp Vriksha Tree
[A tree below which all desires may be fulfilled]

[Story from 'Alankaar Vyakhya' of Br. Krishna Dutta Ji's Literature]

Once devine sage Narad was wandering on Earth. While walking, he saw a sad man. He was sad because his wife was of very quarreling nature. She regularly would punish her husband. In stead of service she used to punish. For the fear of his wife, once he was praying the god in a solitary place, "O God! Just now I am in great sorrow. Please bring me with you from here." Meanwhile devine sage Maharishi Narad reached there. Narad Muni said, "Bhai! Come. Let me bring you to Heaven." With pleasure that man said, "Yes please my Lord."

Narad said to him, "Hey! This is the gate of Heaven." In front of that gate, there was a Kalp Vriksh. Narad Muni said to him, "Stay below the Kalp Vriksh and I am going to Lord Vishnu to get order whether there is any place of you in Heaven or not." Now Narad Ji went to the hermitage of Vishnu and that human stayed below the Kalp Vriksha. Slow fragrant wind was flowing. In his heart arose an imagination that here so much cool slow fragrant air, which makes pleasing, is flowing, here should be a beautiful carpet. Children! The carpet spread at once. When he sat on carpet, his strength of imagination arose that here shold be a bed. That one was Kalp Vriksha 'Here as the imagination is made, the things use to come at once.' The bed also appeared there. Now in his mind the imagination came, O here must be a lot of nymphs, young girls. So a lot of girls too came and started serving. At the time, in the mind of the human came the remambrance of his earthly wife, saying, "If that one wife had been here, there might be a thick stick for me." Now Children! See that one wife of earth too came there. Now there is stick on his head and he is moving forth and the wife is behind him bringing the stick.

Meanwhile divine sage Narad Ji reached and exclaimed with surprise. Narad Muni spoke loudly "Hey! Leave the imagination." When he left the imagination, he saw, there is no wife, no nymph, no mat, no bed. There is only a Kalp Vriksha. With surprise sage Narad said to him, "O great sinner! You made the imagination of worldly enjoyment below this Kalpvriksha too! If you had imagination of Heaven, you might get the Heaven. If you had imagination of being a sage, you might become a sage. If you had imagination of meeting Vishnu, you might meet Vishnu." See! If we resolve, do that one resolve so that you may become igneous and may not become an athiest. You may go to Heaven.

When Supreme Soul made this universe, the souls as well as gods said, "O God! Which type of this world you made?" Thence the God replied, "The world what I made is a type of Kalpa Vriksha. Whatever imagination the soul will do, will become the same, Whatever imagination you will do today shall become that one and that one thing you shall get. But the determination must be accurate, the determination must have discretion, wisdom. So that the human life may become holy, pious"

Mother Gargi

Mother Gargi

It is 28th Kalyug of 7th Manvantar named as Vaiswat going on. Today is, 8th date , Krishna Paksha of 10th Month Paush, Vikrami 2069, Kalpabd 1,97,29,49,113 Varsh, Srityabd 1,96,08,53,113 Varsh. New Year will be held on 11th April of 2013 A.D.

Let us talk about our second great lady of India whose name is alive in the world till now. She had been a celibacy observer till the departure fro her body.

She was studying in an Ashram of a Rishi, in dense forests. Once when Gurudev observed her in his Ashram he found her nowhere. He thought “Where she may go?” She was only four years old then. He became too anxious about her that he left the Ashram in search of her. When he went to a place in dense forests near a big tree, he found her singing Vaidic Mantras so sweetly and skillfully and with so much depth that a lot of violent creatures like lion, snakes and wolves etc. were gathered near her in a queue to listen to song of Vaidic Hymns, the poetry of God and forgot the violent nature of theirself by listening the non violent sound of the poetric stanzas.  Actually Vedic Mantras are the stanzas of poetry created by the supreme power god himself that is why they are full of the waves of non violence. And every creature has a soul within itself that is why it uses to be thirsty of the hymns, which are made by his own father. And Gargi was singing so sweetly with the deep feelings of her heart that it made a non violent effect on violent creatures that is why they all were gathered there to listen the pronounciation of the Learning of their own father God from her mouth.

When Rishi saw this scene he amazed, “How much great soul this daughter Gargi has!”

Meet you with second story of Mother Gargi soon in just next post.

Truly Yours

Honorarium

Once a rishi, named Vartentu, when finished the education of his pupil Kauts Brahmchari, told him to leave the Asharam and to go to his house to lead the remaining life with peace according to the teachings given by him. Now Kauts brahmchari had grown to a scholar of Vedas.
Next day, when he was leaving the Asharam he told his guru, "Guruji! now I am leaving so please tell me what should I offer you as honorarium (reward)?"
"There is no need of it.", guruji replied.
He again requested , "Guruji! plz tell me what should I give you as honorarium?"
He again replied the same.
He again requested him repeatedly. But the rishi replied the same. When Kauts asked again and again, the rishi in a little bit anger, told him to give Fourteen Lakh (1.4 million) of golden coins as reward for the education that he had given to him. Listening that, he went out of the ashram and went straight to the peoples of the region in villages to give them teachings of vedas and he asked for money from them in return as he was collecting money for his Guruji through this way. When some months passed and he could not collect money of even a little golden coins, he became anxious.
A person of the village where he was wandering for begging, told him that he can not collect enough amount with this method. He advised him to go to the King Raghu and added that he could get his desired amount because the King was very kind to the scholars of Vedas.
By getting this advise he went to the palace of the King. When he reached there and asked for the King at the gate, he was sent to a room where he was entertained and welcomed high. For eating and drinking, the material was served to him in clay pots. Kauts was surprised that they did not have even a single golden or silver pot. He guessed that the king was poor and possibly he could not help to get the desired amount needed.
When the king Raghu with his wife came to him himself in the evening and asked about his health and any other requirement for what he came to the kingdom, he (Kauts) dared not to say anything else.
But when the king asked him again and again, the reason of his arrival, he told his wish before them.
In fact, Raja Raghu had just performed a great sacrifice for which the whole amount of his treasure was spent so he decided to get this amount for Kauts from Lanka where King Kubair reigned and ordered his army to attack on Lanka. When Kubair came to know that Raghu is about to attack Lanka, he himself came to Ayodhya with two chariots full of golden coins and ornaments.
Now in the court of Ayodhya all these three were gathered.
When Kubair gave that gold to Raghu, he requested Kauts to take the whole. But Kauts said, "O Sir! I need only fourteen lakh of golden coins. What shall I do to take more than it. I can not take more."
Kubair told Raghu to submit the remaining gold to his treasure and admitted that he has donated it to him so he can not take a bit of it back
Raghu said that he was a man who believe in taking amount whenever required and said that he had just done a grand sacrifice in which he had spent whole amount of his treasure as to lead a simple life similar to the people of his ruled area. This was the reason, he could not take the amount.
Now a dispute occured. When the incident was going on, Rishi Vashishtha reached there. He advised the King Raghu to donate the remaining amount to cows. So he sent the gold to the place where cows were looked after.
Now Kubair returned to his country happily. Kauts went straight to Ashram of his guru Vartentu. He gave the whole amount of fourteen Lakh golden coins to him. Vartentu said, "I accept your honorarium, o dear! now return it to them back from where u got it."
He said anxiously, "Guruji! There already a dispute have occured, they can not take it back."
Rishi Vartentu suggested him, "Collect material of oblation and let us arrange a grand sacrifice so that the money of the real honour of the gold may return back to them."
They performed a great Yagya with this amount and with the help of Yajana, that amount returned back, to the peoples who were real honour of that amount in the form of raining, fresh air and health.
This Yajana gives us health, fresh air, raining and protects us from harmful diseases. This it did for them.
So, through this incident of Treta Yug, we came to know that Yajna is the medium by which material and money of honours can be returned back to them indirectly.
The change what is done by Yajna make an effect positively on the real owner of the oblation material.
See u in the next post with more incidents of our Mythology.

Mountains of Gold

Once a king with his courtiers was walking in his kingdom when he saw a naked saint near a river bank. He thought that there is no one that I ever saw, poor like him. so he decided to help him. He gave 10000 golden coins to his servants and said them to give it to that person for food, clothing and lodging.
His servants went to that person and said to him to take that gold.. The humble looking person replied, "Give it to any humble."
The servants at once returned back to the king and said to the king by their own-
"He is thinking that the amount is too less for him."
The king then gave them 50000 for him. The servants went there and said, "Take these coins now."
"Give it to any humble", he replied.
The servants returned and said to the king that he was thinking the coins very less and needed more.
The king then gave 100000, 500000, 1000000 and 10000000 golden coins respectively as to fulfill his need.
When the servants went to the person again with one crore/ten millions of golden coins and said, " O brother! please take this amount now."
He repeated the same, "O brothers! give it to any humble."
Now when servants returned to the king and said that he refused to take the amount and themself added that he needed more, it was the turn of the king to be surprised.
He went to his palace and from treasure he took thousand millions/one Arab golden coins and himself went to the saint and requested him, "O saint! please now accept this amount for your expense."
The saint replied with very polite voice-
"O king! I have many times told your servants to give the amount to any needy or humble. Have they not told it to you?"
Now by this refusal of taking too much large amount the king amazed. He asked the king, "I have not seen too much poor person like you ever. I feel that you need it hard."
"I have no need of it. I am not a humble person. I am king of kings."
In surprise, the king asked "If you are king of kings then wehre is your army?"
"I need no army because I have no enemy."
"If you are king of kings then where is your treasure? From where you arrange money when you need it?"
"Generally I have no need of money but when I need it I use to make mountains of gold."
The king at once believed the words of the saint and thought that he surely can make mountains of gold else who dare to deny this big amount of coins.
Now he returned to his palace and at night he could not sleep because he thought about golden mountains and that saint whole night. He planned to get a golden mountain built by the saint.
Early in the morning he reached the place of saint. He said to him, "O sage! Please get a golden mountain built for me."
"You have said that I am humble but you seems to me humble in place of me."
"Yes my lord! I am humble but please do it."
"OK. I will make a mountain of gold for you but you will have to come to me regularly."
Now o dear readers! he started coming to the sage everyday. He gave him teachings and educated him in yoga with the meditations etc.
After one year, when with the help of yoga he detected that he now has no personal desires and there is no fault in his subconsience now, he asked him, "Should I make a golden mountain now?"
Now the king replied at this, "No sir! The gold what I wanted, I got. There is no need of more gold for me now?"
So we should understand well that satisfaction is the main treasure.

Thanking You

Four parts of earnings

Once a wood cutter was passing through the forest singing loudly. At this, Narad Muni came to him and asked, "O wood cutter! Which type of pleasure you have within your heart that you are singing too loud?" The wood cutter replied that "I am very much happy because I use to divide my income, after selling the woods which I collect from the forest in four parts. First part I deposite for future, Second part I deposite for next lives, third I use in religious task from which I get pleasure and the remaining fourth I use for my family to which I find enough. This is the reason that I am too much happy. I find myself free of every type of debt."
Now Narad further asked "how is it possible that you are free of every type of anxiety through this type of distrubution of earning?"
The wood cutter replied that first part of earning I give to needy friends and relatives as debt to which I can get whenever more amount is required by me. The second part, I give to saints and devotees of god to which I will get in next births after death. It is a type of deposite which is returned back in next lives. The third part I use in religious tasks which give me pleasure a lot. Because money spent for the sake of god gives pleasure is well known truth. Now remaining money seems to me enough for the need of my family.
So O dear readers! we too should manage for expenditure of our earned money like this so that we may get pleasure everywhere.

See you in next post.

A Guest is a God

When a guest comes to us with out any pre-information is called 'Atithi' and in our mythology 'Atithi' is compared to a god.
A guest who is full of spiritual light, truth speaker, well wisher of all, scholar and yogi when comes to our house, we should serve him with sweet and polite speech, food and different things of his interests. We should please him with these things. After that with conversation with him we should get knowledge of religion, getting money, completing our desires and getting salvation too. And we should make our character and actions according to his teachings. A ruler and other house masters are too the persons who may get full entertainment at our house.
A guest is called god [A god is that who gives something] because he after coming to our house gives us pleasure, different information or different things for our children etc. that is why he is called god.
Now we must understand well that every guest is not just like a god. The persons who criticize negatively the true knowledge, whose behavior is opposite the behavior decided by our constitution, liar, having actions like a cat who fills its stomach by snatching the rat etc at once from its place, are not the persons who may get entertainment. We should not entertain them even with our speech. We should not give them anything and should  not speak them a single word of politeness. Because if we serve them and think that he is a guest-god, we may loss our progress after getting the bad inspirations from their life. This type of persons act negatively and inspire others to do so that is why they are not able to get any entertainment. These persons are called 'Pakhandi'. We can look at the following verse which is taken from 'ManuSmriti':
Pakhandino vikramsthan vaidal vrittikan shathan. Hetukan vakvritteenshch vangmatrenapi narchayet.
Actually, the persons who are not able to get any entertainment should not be rebuked. Because if we become angry on them, it will not be possible to improve their behavior in future. So we should use polite words to every one but some situations need punishment too. So it is said that -
"Samay ke anukul karm karna chahie." Lord Krishna made this proverb true. which means, we should act according to the need of time.
Now, when we see the other phase of this thought we find that serving and protecting anybody else will not go in vain. For it, I am narrating a story which is related to Lord Manu.

Once upon a time, our first king, Lord Manu went to a river for bathing early in the morning. When he dipped his bathing pot into the river, a very small fish (child - fish) came into the pot with water. Manu looked at it. It was very frightened of other big fishes. It prayed to Lord Manu to save it from those big fishes. She told that they might eat her.[Actually Manu was a yogi too and a yogi can understand the language of other animals; their are some medicines that they used to take from plants to understand the language of different living organisms.] Now, Manu took it to his palace and he made a pond for it and leave it into that pond after filling it with fresh water. After sometime, when it became young and big enough, he left it into the river again. When, it was going towards sea, it told Lord Manu, "O king! u are the most kind king. I shall help you when you will need it. And it foretold that after sometime the earth will become full of water because the flood is about to come after some years. Then, I shall come to u and I too shall save ur life as u have saved mine." After some years, the flood came and as fish had promised it came to Manu. Manu had prepared a very big boat(ship) to save him with some more living organisms from this flood. Actually at that time the earth became full of water and there was no place except mountains where any human being might take shelter. Now the fish had grown to a very big fish. It took the ship of Manu to high hill areas and saved the life of Manu with their well wishers. Manu made a rule and said, "Save others, they will save you at your typical time." So we should protect everyone. We don't know who will help us at our opposite time.
Similarly serving others makes a man strong. Actually 'serving is the power of woman', is said by some scholar. Any work what we do never goes waste. That is why we should do something positive and should not waste our time.
We should behave every one politely except some wicked persons.
I have studied Urdu literature too. Similar story is found in this literature with some little changes. In that literature that story is found with name 'Nooh ki Kashti'.

Miracle of Yoga : By Lord Krishna

As you know there are a lot of gods, prayed in our religion. According to my knowledge, there is only one supreme power and all others are too much enlightened souls that they are said to be a god in this world. Almighty, omnipotent, omnipresence god is only one and I pray to thee as those highly illuminated persons whose spirit was too sublime and powerful and the god granted them with too much miraculous virtues, that they too are said to be god, prayed Him. Ram, Krishna, Shiv, Hanuman etc were too much near to Him that He gave them a lot of powers which are not possible to get by a common people. Ram and Krishna were the souls, who were near salvation. They took birth in this world to improve the condition of society.
You will be amazed to know that first Manu of this present Universe was too the soul of this Lord Krishna. Actually Krishna knew two types of Yoga. First is sublime yoga and the other is Bhrishta Yoga. With the help of sublime yoga, he shows his miraculous gigantic form before his pupil Arjuna. This type of task is very common to a yogi.
Now I am narrating a story related to Bhrishta Yoga as found in our mythology and this story is aptly true.
Once, at the time of exile of Pandavas, Mata Draupadi got a miraculous pot (it was invention of science and she got it from a Rishi : Actually rishi is that person who is super in both fields - spiritual and physical science). The property of this pot was that the food, in this pot not ended till she did not eat herself. With the help of this pot Yudhishthira was performing a great Yajna(obligation) in the forest where a lot of saints used to eat food and meet them at the time of Yajna regularly.
When Duryodhan came to know that Yudhishthira is performing a great yajna and uses to feed the saints with the food he thought how is it possible and became full of jealous. He made a plan in his mind and invited Durvasa Muni who was famous for his anger. He generally used to curse the others because of this property. He entertained him with good food and giving him a lot of gratitude. After that he asked him for a boon. Having got too much respect and entertainment, he granted him a boon and said that he might ask whatever he wanted. Now Duryodhana got a chance to destroy the yajna of Yudhishthira. He requested Durvasa to go to see the yajna of Yudhishthira and urged to curse them. Because Durvasa Rishi has promised, he had to grant this boon to Duryodhana.
Now, with his pupils, Durvasa went to see the yajna of Yudhishthira. On the way, he met some saints who were returning from that place after getting food and entertainment. Durvasa asked the saints the source of food how they arranged. They told him that Draupadi had a miraculous pot in which the food did not end until she herself ate. Durvasa made a plan to curse Pandavas. He with the help of Yoga, came to know that Draupadi has taken her food and now it is not possible for her to give them food if they suddenly reach there. Now, he, as well as his pupils reached there where Draupadi was alone because Pandavas had gone to visit some another place. Draupadi entertained them all with polite words and asked “Maharaj! How can I serve you?” Durvasa got the chance and told her, “O my daughter! We are very hungry, we need food as you are doing yajna and feeding a lot of saints everyday. If possible, please give us some food.”
Draupadi at once understood that Durvasa had some different reason of begging food in obligation. After thinking a while, she replied, “Sir! You may go to river for bathing, till then I shall arrange food for you.”
They all went to the river for bathing. Now Draupadi has guessed the ill thoughts that were contained in Durvasa, she thought that he came to them to curse Pandavas.” Draupadi was so scholar a lady, she knew her seven past births. Then she entered the place where weapons of war were arranged in order and took a knife to kill herself as to save the Pandavas from the anger of Durvasa.
Thanx God! Lord Krishna reached there at the same time. He told her, “O my dear sister! What are you doing?”
Draupadi replied, “O Krishna! Durvasa has reached here to curse the Pandavas. He needs food but I can not arrange it. He will surely grant them all curse. That is why I was getting suicide.”
After inspecting the situation, he said, “Draupadi! I am very hungry, give me something to eat.”
“O brother! You are in the mood of humor; I do not have even a single bit of food.”
“Plz give me that pot.”
She gave him that pot; Krishna searched a piece of rice in it. He ate it and said, “Now, my hunger is about to end.”
And with Bhrishta Yoga, he made the effect of that rice onto those visitors. Now Pandavas too returned back. They asked Krishna for well being of him and his family. After some formalities Krishna told Bhima to go to river bank and bring them all from there. He advised him to bring club(Gada) with him too and added if he refuses, bring him here with the fear of club. When Bhima reached the river bank, all were lying on the bank as they all were full and not feeling any hunger as Krishna has done it with Bhrishta Yog. Bhim requested Durvasa to come with him as they have asked for food to eat. Durvasa was rishi, and a rishi never frightened of any one but because there was sin of giving them curse within his mind, he at once, with their pupils, started moving. Bhima was following them with that club. Now he was moving to Pandava’s cottage, with the fear.
When Durvasa reached there, Krishna said to Draupadi to ask him whatever thing he wanted.
After giving him mat to sit comfortably, Draupadi said Durvasa, “O sage! Please tell me which thing do u like to eat in lunch?”
He thought that even he has no hunger but he will have to ask for something, in case, he can give them curse because he knew very well that they have nothing to give for eating. So he knowingly asked a non-seasonal fruit – mango.
Having so listened, she came back to Krishna and said that he is asking for mango. She added that now he shall curse Pandavas because mango is a non-seasonal fruit and it is not possible to offer such a fruit at this time.
Krishna gave her consolation and said, “Ask him, which type of mango he wants to eat – ripen or raw?”
Draupadi went there and asked him the same.
On hearing it he suspected if they had mangoes. So he thought he should order that mango which they did not have. He, after thinking for a while said, “I want both raw and ripen.”
Draupadi goes to Krishna “He is asking for both types of mangoes.”
Krishna said to Draupadi, “Request him to stay there with his mouth opened upward, both types of mangoes are about to reach.
Similar words she told Durvasa.
Durvasa opened his mouth in upward direction. Now with the help of Bhrishta Yoga, what Krishna did? –
Near his mat, a tree of mango started growing; slowly-slowly it changed to a big tree. Now fruits started appearing. Some remained raw and some changed to ripen mangoes. Now the wind started flowing hard and the fruits began to fall from the tree. When ripen drops on his face, his face became full of ripen material contained within it. When raw mango dropped on his face, he used to almost cry hard. His face got swelling soon. He was now completely confused and in pain, he requested Mata Draupadi, “O my daughter! Please help me.”
Krishna told Draupadi to ask him if anything else he needed. When Draupadi asked him, he said, “O daughter! I don’t need anything except my life.”
After some time Krishna stopped it.
Now Durvasa forgot giving them curse and left that place and within his mind, he blessed Draupadi and all Pandavas. When he was walking on the way towards his ashram, he told his pupils, “O sons! We should not promise any cheat like Duryodhana for anything. These Pandavas and Draupadi were very generous and sublimated. I determined to curse them for the sake of Duryodhana. This I did wrong. I think that all the positive actions of my past seven births came to an end through this wrong behavior.
So O dear readers! We should know actual Yoga and should not help any wicked person. Krishna did a lot of miracles through Yoga. This yoga is very great thing. A lot of wrong facts are accustomed in place of real yoga in this world. I am telling you one thing about me now; I too have gained a lot of things in yoga, which is miraculous for a common person. But it happens. I am firm about it because it is my own experience. See U later in next post.

The Condition of The World

This story is found in our religious book Mahabharat which is told by Mahatma Vidur to King Dhritrashtra at the time of Mahabharat to define the condition of world which is famous for its foresightedness.
Once a man was wandering in forests. Suddenly, he saw that trees of forest have caught fire and were burning producing a lot of heat. There lions were roaring and the elephants were trumpeting with very loud noise. He was very frightened. He ran towards a very big tree which was near a clean water pond. In hurry, he went on climbing on it. But when he saw below, a snake was also crawling towards him from its roots. On which branch, he was sitting, two rats of black colour and white colour were cutting that branch. An elephant of six heads and trunks was shaking that tree and trying to break it with its trunks. He suddenly understood his future that is to be ended soon. But at that branch some drops of honey were falling from a hive of bees that was some where on upper branches. He took his tongue below that flow of drops. And now he completely forgot his uncertain future that is nothing except death.
Now he explains this story-
When the child, before birth, has existence in the womb of mother, he becomes very much worried because of the warmth of womb and the sound of circulation of life wind and blood. There he feels a hell. He prays to god to separate him from that Hell. The god gives him, after a certain   period of more than nine months, the outer world. This world is like a tree. [Place of uterus is compared to have the fire and frightening sound of elephants and lions]. In that tree that elephant is six seasons, every season is of two months, which is continuously cutting the age of that person, rats of black and white colors are day and night, which is continuously ending the life of that person. That snake is the death that is to come surely. Here everyone forgot his death because honey of anger, desires, greed, proud and love is being taken by them. They forget their death and are busy in these tasks.
So, O dear reader! try to get some different thing other than these and now it is the time to be busy in gaining true knowledge, doing pious tasks and praying the God. Don't forget your death. Death is approaching towards us like that snake; which is sure.

Vamanavtar

Once the king of Devils named Bali started doing 'Yajnas', a work done with alters. He was doing a very big yajna in which he was donating things too. He was emperor of this earth, places below earth and the whole sky(Heaven) means he was emperor of all the three big places so called 'Trilok pati'. There was nothing where he was not reigning and all the gods were frightened of him. When the king of gods, Indra, prayed to Vishnu, a god who manages and operates the whole world, he took birth on the earth in the form of Vamanavtar. Vamanavtar is a birth of Vishnu from different births, other are in the form of Ram, Krishn and Narshimh etc.
He went to the place where Bali was busy in managing yajna and donating things. Guru of Bali, guru of Devils, Shukracharya had said to Bali that if anybody comes to you for charity in the form of brahmin, do not give any thing to him. But when bhagwan vishnu, in the form of Vamanavtar, appeared in front of him and asked to give him one blessing, he at once accepted and said that he could wish whatever he wanted. Listening this Vaman asked the land measured by four footsteps. He thought it very easy task and agreed. Now because Vaman was Vishnu, in real, he measured the whole sky(or Heaven) in one footstep, with second, he measured the whole place that was below earth and by third footstep he measured the whole earth and asked where he should put the fourth footstep. Bali told him to put the fourth footstep on his head. Acordingly Vaman did and by putting his foot on Bali's head he buried him towards the Patal(place below earth).
O dear readers! real meaning of this story that we find in Hindu mythology is very clear and praise worthy. When there become darkness at night on the half of earth and night(Bali) reigns on earth, sky and beneath earth, peoples(Indra) pray to god to get sun light. Sun is called Vaman. In sanskrit language Vaman means 'who vomits'. Here sun vomits rays full of light and heat. So it is called Vaman. In the morning its first ray 'Usha' goes to sky that takes away reign of darkness(Bali) from there. Second ray goes to the places below earth that remove darkness from there and third ray beam comes to earth to remove darkness from earth. And now his full light drive away the whole darkness and now sun becomes the emperor of whole world and darkness moves towards America (Patal Lok) forcefully.

Ahilya

There is an illusion in our religious book related to Gautam, Indra and Ahilya. Let us see what it says.
Brahma made Ahilya and when Indra, the king of god saw her beauty, he told to give her to him. The Brahma promised it and after some years when she became young, he gave her to Rishi Gautam, a saint to give her to Indra. But because of marvelous beauty, he made her his wife. When Indra came to know this incident, that his Ahilya is with Gautam, he, with moon, came to Gauitam's cottage and at night he made artificial sound of a cock and then he ordered the moon, to keep and have an eye on Gautam so that if Gautam returns, it may inform Indra. Now he made himself a false copy of Gautam and went inside the cottage and there he met Ahilya . . . . .
On other side, after listening sound of cock, Gautam thought it morning and went to Ganga, pious river, and filled his pot for bathing; The Ganga said, "What are you doing here at this time?"
"O mother Ganga! I use to come here for bathing everyday early in the morning. Why are you asking like it?"
"Gautam! it is midnight now, return back to your cottage because Indra is misleading your wife."
Now, he returned to his house hurriedly. When he went there, he saw moon in the form of a guard, he gave his wet clothes to moon, that is why the moon losses its light on some particular places. Now he moved inside the cottage, he, first, cursed Ahilya that your body would become of stone and cursed the Indra to have thousands of 'Bhagas'.
Now, O noble friends, we should think about this story. The real thought secreted in it is that Gautam means moon, Indra means Sun, Ahilya means this night. In the moon-night, the moon takes away the darkness from the world and gives the earth light. He use the night as a husband use her wife, and the moon(Gautam) gives the plants juicy material. When in the morning the Sun comes, he use the darkness and give it light and from plants, it takes away the juicy material. Through this process of taking and giving juice, the plant products use to ripe. The sun has thousands of rays, that is why it is called to have thousands of Bhagas. Now, I am stopping my pen. You should think about every illusion like it. And the true fact that story say is clear to you now. I shall join you again with some more interesting illusions and stories.

Knowledge, Action and Devotion

There is an illusion which is found in our religious books. Its explanation is very useful for our life.
There lived a bird on a beach on a tree. She gave two eggs in its nest. She loved her eggs very much. At the time of tide in ocean, the eggs went into the ocean and when the bird returned she did not find them there. She at once guessed that her eggs were swallowed by the ocean. So she started throwing soil particles (Sand) into the ocean with her small beak. A saint, named 'Augastya' was passing from there. He asked her, "O pious angel! what are you doing?" She said, "O respectable god! This ocean has swallowed my little once and I will dry it up." Augustya said, "You can't do it. It is not possible for you. I can drink this huge ocean with only three sips." He did it and by yoga he released the water of whole ocean as urine and saved the life of her two dear once. It is said that the ocean tastes salty from that time.
This story of our books is considered as it is, by everyone. But I am throwing a flash of true fact hidden within it.Only than, you can understand the actual secret theme of it. The bird is soul and its two dear once are mind and wisdom. This vast world is the ocean. When our mind and wisdom are completely disturbed in this world, the soul throw particles of knowledge to this world to conquer it. But it is impossible to win it. After sometime 'Vivek' comes in existence. 'Vivek' means 'knowledge of true or false'.'Vivek' can easily take three sips of 'Hard work, true knowledge and prayer' and realizes that this world is salty and leaves thinking himself about it. Now mind and wisdom both are saved from this world.
So O dear brother! if you want to conquer this whole world, invest your time either on gaining knowledge, doing good tasks or for meditations etc. Only then you will get the leave from this vast, sorrowful world and you will be able to get pleasure. It is truly said in vedas-
"Om Kurvanneveh karmani jijivishechchhatam samah ...."
'Have a wish to live minimum hundred years doing good deeds.'
This is second sip of Rishi Augastya. Similarly we can find other two sips which are not mentioned here in detail. I will tell you later about it.
I am giving you a fundamental thought that "Knowledge, Action and Devotion is key to success".

Who is fool?

Once there was a king who was wandering in hill areas with his courtiers. While standing on a hill, he thought that he is a king of this vast region, yet he does not have even a single stick which is a symbol of earthly power. So, when he returned to his palace, he ordered to prepare a stick for him. The stick was made with the help of ruby, diamonds etc. Which costs millions of rupees.
While walking with this stick, he saw a person in a funeral place who did not have even a single cloth to wear. The king ordered him, "Come with me to my palace where I shall give you clothes, food and place to live." That person replied, "You all will have to come here, what shall I do to go there?" Listening this the king became angry. He beat him with his precious stick and threw it towards him and said, "O fool! Give it to that person to which you find more fool than you." Saying these words, he returned to his palace with his courtiers. Actually that poor looking person was a 'Yogi'. After some years the saint, with the help of Yoga, came to know that the death of the king is very near and the king is on the bed waiting his death. He knowingly went there with that stick. Seeing him, the king said,"O fool! Have you not got any fool to give this stick?"
"No, your honour! I could not find any fool to which I might give it.", he said and added , "What are you doing on this bed?"
King said, "O fool! Don't you know I am going for a long journey?"
"What are you bringing with you on this journey?"
"O fool! Nothing is to be brought there. I am going alone."
"Are your courtiers not going with you for praising you there?"
"O fool! They cannot go with me on this journey."
"Is your army not going there with you to fight?"
"O fool! It is not possible for them to go there on this journey."
"Are you not taking money from your treasury which you have earned till now?"
"O fool! It does not go with us."
"Are these buildings which you have made in your life with too much hard work not going with you?"
He replied the same.
"Are your wives not going with you to serve?"
He replied the same.
"Are you not bringing even a single mat to sit on?"
He replied the same.
Now this was the turn of that saint(Yogi).
"You do not have even a single thing to which you are bringing with you. I am very much better than you that I have many things for this type of journey for taking with me."
And with that stick he beat him hard. Understanding the whole matter, the king came to his feet and said, "O noble sage! I told you fool, many times but you never rebuked me. What should I do now. What are these things which go with us on this journey?
"Now you are about to depart for death. You cannot collect these things now."

O dear readers! I am telling you, those things are - 'Doing good deeds for others and Thinking about god.'
